Neutral Chic Nursery On A Budget

Delaney's room is my favorite room in the house! It incorporates my chic and vintage style and is bright with pale neutral colors. Most of the decor pieces in her room were purchased at antique or thrift stores!

The sconces ($16), large frame ($4), rocking chair ($12) and antique lace baby dress ($6) were all from vintage thrift stores near my house. It's amazing what some soap/water and spray paint can accomplish!

Living in Bucks County, near historic New Hope and Doylestown, there are tons of stores that sell really cool "treasures". "Treasure hunting" on the weekend is one of my favorite things to do when I actually have the time to do it! There's something about "the hunt" and getting something I love for a great deal that really makes me excited haha

The paint in her room is a creamy shade of Ivory (I'll have to go through our cans to get the exact color for you), which makes her small space, brighter and look a little bigger. It was previously painted lavender when it was Liv's room but I love this color so much more!

Her monogram decal that is above her crib was purchased from an Etsy shop that I had also purchased from for Brynley's nursery when we lived at our old house- I loved the quality of the decal so I knew what to expect when ordering again!

The Queen Anne style chair in the corner was actually my parent's that is about 30 years old. It was just sitting in the garage collecting junk on it and was a Rust colored velvet. I took some Chalk Paint to it ( after seeing a similar project on Pinterest) to repurpose it into a Grey chair for the nursery.

I have a knit blanket over it because it's not soft and fluffy velvet anymore...

it feels more like a leather chair and is cool to the touch. Give me allll the warm knit blankets...

The mirror was a Homegoods find and under $50, her lamp base was from a thrift store and I just added a new shade to it. Can we take a second to drool over her White faux Dupioni silk curtains, which I'm obsessed with?!?

They were purchased on Amazon and it was love at first sight. They are knotted at the top near the rod which add a touch of class, in my opinion!

Where is your favorite place to shop when re-decorating a room?

xoxo Lauren
